Are you a superstitious person? You know, the type of person who will not open an umbrella inside, won’t wander under a ladder and has to spin around three times after stepping over a crack in the cement?
Here is a list of the more popular craps folklores assembled by some of the great craps players. Incidentally, they believe in most of this nonsense too!
one. If the stickman is substituted, during a roll, a seven will be next.
2. If a drink hostess walks up to the table the table, a seven will be next.
3. If the pair of dice being thrown hits a player’s cash, a 7 is probable.
4. If the dice being thrown impacts the glass, a seven will appear.
5. If there’s too much chatter amongst the croupiers, constant sevens.
six. If the dice are rolled off the table, 7 will be the following number.
7. If new dice are requested, seven is certain to follow.
eight. If anybody yells out the number "7", a 7 is certain to be next.
All of this might just sound like a whole lot of nothing to you but every now and then you might be engaged in an active game where the bones are passing a little too frequently. If you keep tabs, you’ll discover that many of the superstitions are, in reality, happening.
You will see that the stickman is substituted a little too regularly, that rather than of 1 cocktail stewardess, the table now has two servers bringing drinks and many other abnormal happenings that eventually mean a 7 is going to be thrown by the tosser.
Bear in mind, you are able to constantly bring your wagers off the table and wait until the next tosser. You are able to also turn your bets off, however, if you do, don’t turn them back on, especially given that if you do… a 7 will follow!
